Jada | Steel Casement Attachment

We often get asked how our steel window and door products are installed into a building. We add a full perimeter flange to the exterior framing as well as add welded intermediate brackets to anchor the product to the inside of the frame. The flange is significant because it connects the weight of the product to the building frame, and provides a bridge that supports the waterproofing layers. These methods of attachment are familiar with most western construction methods and waterproofing professionals look for these details because of their superior interlace with the waterproofing membranes. See our specialized attachment methods to learn more.
